Vera de Bel holds a Walter Benjamin position at the University of Cologne, Germany and is visiting researcher at the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute.
She obtained her PhD in Sociology at the Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS) at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands) in 2020. Her research interests comprise family networks and well-being at different stages of the life course.
